The Frida Saree In Yellow: Buy Cotton Statement Hand Embroidered Saree

This saree is inspired by 2 phenomenal women who have inspired and deeply touched our lives - Frida Kahlo and Maya Angelou. These strong women, through their own example have shown us that we are phenomenal and no dream is too big for us. 

On the cotton handloom saree, Frida is represented by the dolls embroidered on the saree. To create these dolls, we use scraps of fabric that are appliqued on the saree, then the faces are hand embroidered and of course each doll has flowers in her hair that are created using french knots and other embroidery techniques.

The saree also has words from Maya Angelou's poem ,Phenomenal Woman' hand embroidered on it, to constantly remind you of just how phenomenal you are.
