The Saree:
The Taara saree is crafted from pure soft cotton. The saree has been handprinted using traditional methods to create a very modern star pattern. The saree has been printed by hand using natural dyes and natural age old methods of dyeing and printing. The saree has a red cotton edging which has also been hand block printed with an intricate beautiful pattern. The cotton saree also has a lace panel along the edges, it is a cotton hand crochet lace that beautifully bridges the gap between the red border and the star saree.

The Inspiration :                                                                                                            Inspired by a feeling - a feeling of surreal calm one feels, laying on a sandy warm beach on a full moon night. The waves playing catch with my toes, the moonlight dancing with the ocean and its every ebb and flow. I look up at the clear black sky, twinkling with a million stars - it feels like they are shining just for me, such is the relationship I share with the universe.
